Faith may have only been 13, but she was out and about on the streets of Los Angeles all by herself. Roaming in and out of shops in her ratty clothes. Her dark blue jeans that she wore were ripped up. Not because she bought them that way, but because they were old, and some of the tears were from falling or being beaten by her mother. It was all good though, Faith didn't care; it was what she grew up with. She stood outside the Warner Brothers studios, watching the people go in and out of it, jumping up and down with excitment to see the film sets that their favorite TV shows and Movies were made. Faith rolled her eyes and began to walk some more.
Her head was down and her hands were in her pocket. Faith's hair fell messily in front of her face as she watched her feet. 'What the heck am I going to do today?' she asked herself. 'It's always the same old same old.' She stopped at a cross walk with a large mob of people, and when the sign said to go she walked. Finally, Faith made up her mind. She was headed to the beach. She had thought that maybe she would go earlier, so she already had on her bathing suite. She made some more turns and crossed some more roads until she was in a little shack along the beach.
"Hey, Bill," she said to the guy at the counter.
"Hey Faith!" he responded. "Do you want your board?" Faith smirked and nodded her head, removing her hands from her pockets.
"Yes please!" she said. The man reached under the counter he was perched at and pulled out a black surf board with blue markings on it, and a skim board that matched. Faith took them from him, grabbed a bag, and took off her clothes. She had on a one piece bathing suite, two piece suites were bad for surfing... But she headed out to the beach and looked around.
