Physical appearance
Johnathan is your everyday country bumpkin. He has a well-muscled body from helping his family in the country; broad shoulders, lean legs, 6'2", 130lbs: the works. He also has a slightly darker skin tone than most and it wasn't just your every day 'oh, I was out in the sun today' tan.
Honey colored eyes and almost identically colored hair that was short, but not short enough so it could be slicked back easily. A handsomely structured facel: a charming smile, a little larger nose than most, chiseled jaw and a friendly look in his slightly up turned lips. It gives him a very approachable feeling to him.
Along with being a country bumpkin, he has his shares of scars: A burn mark on his right bicep, a scar that's shaped in a backwards "C" against his jaw, and many other small scars on his hands, legs and arms.
Character History
Johnathan had a very Muggle-Country life until he had turned eleven. A Ma' and Pa' and a thick accent, all around the table. Working in the farm, he had grown physical ability and even some smarts. Not every country man was mind-numb. They had a local elementary school taught by Johnathans uncle near by and he got into the classes easily and he learned quickly.
Well, Johnny made his way through Muggle school and when he had gotten that letter from this weird place called "Hogwarts" he had immediately thrown it away, dismissing it as some stupid scam that his friends had decided to play on him. That night, he got another from a large tawny owl at his window and he believed it to be real. His parents obviously thought he was insane.
Nevertheless, they went and they were all amazed what a large world this seemingly plain one was hiding. Johnny and his mother had immediately been drawn in, his father still being reluctant to the whole idea. When Johnny had left the first time, his family sent bunches of letters, his House mates sometimes getting a little envious of how much family he had.
So, the Levall family grew into the idea of having a wizard in their midst pretty easily and they were as joyus as ever when Johnny went and came to and from Hogwarts.
Personality
Friendly, charming, fast learning and intelligent - that's Johnathan Levall in a nutshell. If you count fast learning as a personality trait is your decision, but that trait helps him develope his other personality characteristics, learning what's friendly to other people and learning about other people just by hearing them speak or watching their body language. Honestly, this was a skill anyone could learn, just with enough practice and with nothing but time to practice on his hands, he learned quickly.
Johnathan is very accepting, whether you be a werewolf, half-blood, pureblood, or anything of the sort, he accepted you; if you didn't annoy him that is. Though, Johnny is very hard to annoy, much less dislike you for something you did. A very laid-back personliaty is Johnny's good trait, but first judgement is his bad one. He may still like you, but he will judge you on your appearance and he will not deny it. It is possible to change his mind, of course.
Johnny likes many things (Dogs, magic, books, people, singing, just to name a few) and dislikes very few things (people who don't use common sense and cats.) On his dislike list, there's cats. Yes, he dislikes cats but for more than they're grumpy creatures that he doesn't get along with. He's severely allergic to them. Whenever he goes into Transfiguration, he has to take some kind of medicine - Muggle or otherwise - to stop his sneezing from the cats that had been in there maybe a day before.
On his likes list, there is singing. Yes, Johnny has the voice and the smarts to write a song and sing it. With a naturally deep voice, he can make most people swoon, if they like country music that is. There are some people, though, who hate his voice. Like his mother. She holds no malice towards it, she just doesn't like the rough, low tone for a boy of 17.

Crap! He was going to be late again. The teacher would rip out his appendix and make it into a knife and stab him repeatedly with it. Johnny idly wondered if that was possible as he slid into Transfiguration, robes flapping around him as he plopped down in the only seat avaliable.
He hated to be at the back of the room. He sighed, watching the teacher teach from his pitiful seat in the back of the room. He was usually up front, listening and working without having to strain his ears... Johnny sighed, a small pout on his lips as he watched the teacher turn something (he couldn't make it out ) into a living breathing... cat. He growled, softly, putting his hands on his face and peeking out through his fingers as she explained how this had happened.
Johnathan glanced around, catching sight of a fellow Ravenclaw and smiling softly, "Did I miss anything?" He asked her quietly. The girl glanced over, blinking once before replying just as softly. Apparently, he had missed the beginning of the lesson of changing inatimate objects into something at least half-functioning. He smiled greatfully at her.
"Thank you." He murmured before going back to his notes and trying not to look up at the cat, trying to keep his mind off of it.
