With the words of one of her favorite songs bouncing in her ears Jamie had no inclination that someone was speaking to her. Though there was a pit feeling someone was watching her. Opening her eyes Jamie immediatly rolled them at the sight of her cousin before closing them once more. "Close your legs Cecile, I don't want to smell that." She muttered.

Keeping a tight grip on her dog she smirked again, leaning forward and swatting her cousin cross the head. It was the first physical contact they had in a while, and though if anyone was to see it they would have thought it innocent, Cécile knew how much it would sting. "Didn't Kristine ezer tell you not to be so rude Jamie? Or waz she too buzy giving you tips on 'ow to waste your life and get pregnant as soon as you are able too?"

The swat on Jamie's head made her bolt up on her seat. She was no dog. "No, I think I skipped that lesson when I was told I was related to you." Jamie seethed, "Now, I suggest you leave before you find yourself in a very compromising situation." Her eyes flicked to the door, the girl did not know what she was capable of since the last time they encountered each other. "At least I know not to sleep with scum." She said simply after that, turning the volume up in her ears so she would not even hear the panting of Cecile's animal.

It gave her great delight to see her cousin in such a worked up state and she didn't even attempt to hide the gleeful expression from her face, or the way her eyes shined with amusement. "An what eez zis compramising situation cuzin?" It wasn't hard to force curiosity into her voice as she wanted to know exactly what her cousin thought she could do to harm her. Though she frowned slightly at the girls next words, one slender arm flying to her hip where she rested it arrogantly. "And what exactlee to you mean by zat Jamie?" The amusement had gone from her eyes as she dared her cousin to say anything.

An eyebrow raised as Jamie watched her cousin turn herself into a flippant position. "Whatever else could I mean? 'cousin?" Smirking at her cousin, Jamie leaned against the back wall next to the window. A feeling of glory ocming over herself, she was quite aware of the sore spot she'd hit with Cecile. "I'd think it was quite obvious...the smell...oh and the way you walk." Smiling with her lips, the curve impecable, Jamie finished her spiteful vengeance. "MIght what to get that checked." The insults were so small, but to the two, they were everything.

Though both girls knew full well the accusations were untrue and only meant to get under Cécile's skin, she couldn't help but snarl at the dark haired girl. "Zer ees nozing wrong wiz me or ze way I walk Jamie and I suggest you stay quiet about my personnal life if you know what eez good for you," it didn't take some who knew her as well as Jamie to know that ther words were spoken with conviction. Jamie was the only girl who knew anything about Cécile outside of school, and she had always wished to keep the two seperate for a number of reasons. Now this girl could spoilt it all. "I av a repuation to uphold, even eef you don't."

"If you have such a reputation why spoil it as you do?" Jamie asked the girl, her smirk still visible. Jamie knew Cecile better than most, not that they shared things intentionally, the genearlly used their secrets to spite eachother. It always ended up biting them later. "There is plenty wrong with the way you walk, perhaps you get yourself flushed out, see if it makes it harder to let someone in." Cocking her head to the side barely Jamie raised her brow once more, patronizing the girl. The game they played with each other would survive til they were both long since dead. "You don't scare me Cecile, we know too much of one another to be scary." The last comment made Jamie hold her head up high, she knew Cecile wasn't the brightest, but she wasn't stupid.

Narrowing here eyes she almost leant forward to intimidate the girl in some way, though she knew it was pointless. Deciding it would be better not to get into petty insults she let her face relax into a smug smirk. "Eez it because no one will 'av you zat you are so eenterested in my personnaly life Jamie? Or does it give you a sense of living to theenk yourself involved?" The collected Cécile was back and she laughed loudly at the girls comment. "Zat ees called poise dear cuzin, eet ees what comes when you 'av breeding and class." The laugh still on her lips she shook her head and stroked Aurora's head. "Did you ere zat Aurora, Jamie eez not afraid of uz, oh dear, we weel 'av to try 'arder next time, non?"

Leaning her head back casually against the wall behind her Jamie allowed her eyes to narrow as Cecile's. The girls challenged each other. The only physical fights that had ever ensued had been when Cecile would begin telling Jamie she knew of her father and then not say anything else. Cecile had that one upperhand on her everytime, it sickened Jamie everytime. "Cecile, everyone with a penis is involved with you." Jamie shrugged, stating the blunt truth to her cousin. It wasn't as if it was a secret right?
Sneering at Cecile, Jamie held in a tight laugh. The dog ... she was speaking to her dog. "You have to speak to your dog as a result of companionship?" Jamie asked her, raising an eyebrow. She hadn't thought Cecile had gotten that pathetic yet.

There was a tightness to her jaw that rarely appeared as the two cousins stared at each other. "Do not spread lies about me Jamie," the words came out as a hiss, her eyes never leaving the dark haired girls. Cécile left out the part about the words not being lies, more an exageration, but it was not Jamie's place to bring in her life outside of Hogwarts. Here Cécile was the perfect student, the unobtainable crush of so many, and generally the girl everyone was in awe of. She wasn't about to let this pathetic excuse for a Black tarnish her good name. "I always knew you 'ad a good imagination Jamiee," that smile was back, the smile that made you want to wipe such a smug look off of her face. "But zen again, eef my life waz like yours, I would dream."
At the reference to the dog, she laughed again, though it held little humour and was tinged with cruelty. "On ze contrary Jamiee, eet waz just a reminder zat even my pets look down on you."

Laughing quietly at her cousin Jamie shook her head, her hair falling into her eyes so much like her father's before she looked up once more. "Cecile, I would never speak anything but the utmost truths about you. So who was it before the train took off?" She asked her cousin, sucking her cheek in and out to make a point, a sneer crossing her lips.
At the dog comment Jamie had to contain her giggles. The girl thought her dog had a personality. "And how would you know what your dog was thinking?" Jamie questioned her obviously loopy cousin. "Does she speak to you?" Her face imitated a pouty, feel bad face though that was the farthest emotion from Jamie's mind.

Despite all of her coverings Cécile was as spiteful and bitchy as any Slytherin girl, and it took utmost effort to bite her tongue and brush past the comment. Though at times it was unnerving how much her cousin knew about her life. "Be quiet Jamiee, you know nozin," the conviction was there in her voice, but a hint of surprise was visible inside those oak leaf green eyes of hers.
A almost snarl curled her normally polite lips as her cousin made fun of her dog, didn't the girl know that magical beings should be treated with respect, as should animals. "Eet ees mighty naive oz you not to theenk animelas 'av personalities Jamiee," she almost spat. "I know your muzzer ees never sober, but I would 'av zort you would 'av learnt at leeast zat."

Shrugging Jamie smirked once more at the girl. Raising her piercing blue and green eyes to face the girl Jamie paused the conversation. All but holding her breath. The two knew exactly what to say to get under one another's skin. It was almost an art the way they dance around insults in the light of each other's eyes. "I know nothing Cecile? That's like saying I'm black." Sneering as per usual Jamie sat up straighter, watching the way the girl moved.
"Yes well, while learning to care for myself rather than be spoiled I failed to learn that I could speak to animals rather than humans. I beg your pardon." Jamie faked a bow towards the girl, a taunting smirk upon her face. In some ways the fights between the two had been missed simply because they brought a challenge no one else could surpass between them.

Under her breath Cécile muttered something about the girl indeed being more black than an actually Black. The family were supposed to be respectable, and here was this girl flinging vulgar insults at her, at least Cécile kept away from such a department, though usually it was indeed out of fear of her cousin bringing up her own habbits. Turning her smile more pleasant she tossed her hair again, ignoring the way it caught perfectly in the light. After all she was used to the effects of being part veela. It gave her a strange feeling of victory to see how much the girl stared at her. "Studying 'ow to act like a real lady, are we Jamiee," she drawled, her eyes flashing smugly once more. "And I theenk we boz know I can look after myself perfectly fine," her parents had often left her to her own devices due to their busy schedule.

The battle was drawing to borderline dull. Jamie could only stand Cecile's weak insults for so long, for that matter could only throw her own for so long as well. The two fought well, getting along would perhaps be something they never knew.
"Well Cecile, if you can find greater company than me or your dog, please, don't let me stop you." Jamie said with the greatest pleasantness possible. After all, far be it from her to interupt the girls life. Instead of snarling Jamie smiled politely, knowing full well it would be under Cecile's skin after she left. . once she figured it out.
