Pursing her lips lips she watched the girl. Wondering whether they would get bored of such confrontations when they got older. Probably not, she could see their children fighting because of a silly rivalry. It would amuse her anyway, especially seen as it would not necessarily be founded. "But Jamiee, I feel ze ozzurs would not appreciate my company eenough, you seem to 'av leetle as eet ees. Scared everyone away I take it?" No doubt the fact that they were both now Prefects wouldn't mark a good decision, they would constantly fighting during their duties.

Rolling her eyes Jamie walked to the door, leaning against the side wall nearest the frame. Hoping that Cecile was mildly intelligent enough to figure out what she was trying to get at. "Cecile, my company is reserved for those I care to speak with. Go find someone's dog to talk to." The insult was in many ways a home run, because Cecile did not take kindly to anyone insulting her animals or anyone elses. It wasn't because she was kind, it was because animals were the few creatures who could stand her while she spoke. Looking at Cecile was much different from talking to her. "Dont' let a house fall on you," Jamie smirked. Remembering as children that had been Cecile's worst fear.

Of all the things she wanted to do, make her cousin happy or her life easier was not one of them. Hence the reason she did not budge, or make any move to leave the compartment, despite the frosty air between the two girls. She knew it would annoy Jamie much more to simple stay, let the girl think she didn't know what she meant. "I'm afraid Jamiee, you can not be trusted on ze train, especially near anything male," the words were slightly ironic, but she didn't care. Trying once again to ignore the insult she smiled, secretly hating the fact that Jamie knew so much about her. "I weel try dahrling," she drawled, not wanting to rely on petty insults about their past like the girl was. If so, she had a dozen at hand about so many things.

Realizing that Cecile refused to leave at the annoyance of Jamie she smiled. The girl was playing with her head once more. It was something that had been going on for years. Cecile had loveed Mother insults the most. "Well, I can be trusted around many things. At least I don't have urges to jump into bed with anyone to make them fall for me."Shrugging Jamie put her earbuds in once more, ignoring what was being said around her as she took her seat.

Eye twitching slightly, Cécile gripped Aurora, fighting the urge to invade the girls personnal space and let the dog do her stuff. After all, both girls knew how much Jamie hated the little dog, and most animals in general, it was the quality they had that seemed to have switched, you would have thought the elegant Slytherin would have hated them, and the Tomboy Gryffindor loved them. Twisted. "Jamiee, dear, zat is not your decizion, zey run a mile before you set eyez on zem," smiling sweetly, she almost laughed at the comment. "I do not need to jump eento bed, or anywhere elze for zat matter, charm ges along way Jamiee, maybe you would 'ave learnt that if you were brought up properly."

Keeping her gaze steady with Cecile's, Jamie bobbed her head to her music. A smirk playing across her face at the fact that she could not hear a word the girl was saying. In many ways Jamie was a strange girl, no doubt. But she did not hate animals. Only the ones that belonged to Cecile, for the fact that they were jsut.....not right.

Out of seemingly nowhere, boredom overcame her pretty features and she sighed slightly, the sound drawn out and full of tedium. Stroking the smooth hair of the small white dog idly she decided this had no longer become fun or worth her time. The decision made she fixed a sickly sweet smile on her face and looked to her cousin. "Weel Jamiee I weel 'av to be off," face still charming she wave a small condescending wave and reached her hand up to blow the girl a kiss. "Au Revoir." At that she turned and left the compartment, sliding it shut quietly behind her.

A sneer crossed Jamie's delicate, tomboyish features as her cousin became bored and exited. If she hadn't been alone she very well might have laughed. Instead she turned the volume on her crackling ipod and watched the landscape go by. This had to be one battle she'd won, too bad there were years worth to come.
As the landscape changed from city to town to country Jamie's thoughts wandered to her mother, wondering if she had made it work or the couch with another bottle tonight.
Where was her dad?
