Brushing some hair from her face, though a few strands stuck to her lip gloss, Jamie sighed. It was a new place for her. Though Europe was frequently visited by her, the South of France was a new venture. Hitting pause on her ipod Jamie glanced around for a moment. Being a stranger here was rather nerve wracking.
"Now to find someone interesting to speak with.." She mumbled, glancing around her once more before putting her ipod away and checking that her wand was still at her side.

"I hate French people..." Muttering crude things under her breath had somehow become Leo's specialty. It was just a naturual thing to do and she seemed to get away with it often enough so why not turn it into an art? An art was what it became. Her hands in the back pockets of her jeans, she was quite aware that she had a lot of money and nothing to spend it on. Of course, that was subject to change quite soon if she was lucky. She window shopped, staring openly at some of the things she passed and barely glancing at others. It was as she was staring that she managed to ram her shoulder into another person, quite by accident for once. "Regarder où vous allez !" She snappd instantly. Oh great, she was already starting a fight today. This could get messy.

Getting bumped into is aways a shocker when you're not expecting it. Looking up Jamie's eyes met another girls. "I don't speak french hun." She said in mild regard of the girl. Jamie spoke english and nothing but. The girl seemed pissed to say the least. "Sorry abuot that." She stated simply and turned to walk in the other direction, Jamie avoided fighting simply because as a younger child she'd been sent away for doing it too severely.

Leo's jaw felt as if it was going to hit the floor. "Oh, dear sweet Merlin you speak English." She said as she stared at the girl. She was turning around to walk away and Leo was quite torn on whether or not she should grab her or run after her or whatever. It had been such a long time, or so it felt, that she'd been able to speak fluent English with someone who didn't have an accent.

"That's what they taught me." jamie laughed, though she was still walking. The girl was interesting to the say the least. At least that is what Jamie caught from speaking with her. She'd left her mother in London almost very holiday since she was eleven to visit the world. Her english was impecable, though her british accent came back from time to time.

Oh, bloody hell. She thought to herself as she briskly walked those extra few steps to catch up with her. "You must not come to France often if you still don't know French." Leo, on the other hand, had rather decent French. She should, seeing as her Mother was French, not that she really ever spoke to her. This girl, however, was interesting to Leo and she figured she might as well chat and walk with her until she found something better to do. No harm in that, right? Right. "Where you from, anyways?" She asked, being a right regular chatter box, something she normally wasn't.

Jamie turned her head to the girl and stopped. "London" She laughed, a smirk crossing her face at how the girl seemed unable to stop talking. "My name is Jamie, why don't we sit somewhere and eat since that will give us more license to talk." In all honesty Jamie couldn't help but laugh. The girl was interesting to say the least but this was entertaining, she'd gotten what she'd wanted. Someone to speak with who at first would probably have tried to beat her ass.

"Le Café des Bohémiens is right across the street." Leo offered, nodding in its general direction. "Oh, I'm Leo by the way." She added as she stepped out into the street, ignoring the pissed off looking Frenchmen in their little cars as they had to stop for her. Her gait was unhurried and she really could careless if they got mad at her. Surprisingly, Leo was curious about whether or not Jamie was a Witch. A silly thing to think though so she didn't mention anything that Jamie might recognize. "Un thé gelé, et envoyer la volonté vous?" She said rather rudely to the waiter as she walked in the little gate towards a corner table. This was going to be one interesting day. [/right]

Ted sighed looking to the menu, although it was great to spend his holydays outside of London, he was getting a bit tired. He missed everybody back in England. He took a sip of his beer and looked around, noticing two girls around his age walking in. He just smilled as they sat close to him. He knew some french, but not enough to make a conversation, so he wouldnt even consider saying something to them. He ran his fingers through his hair and drank some more beer, not as good as Butterbeer, but the final efect was the same.

Brushing some hair from her face once more Jamie took a seat in the metal chair offered to her by a waiter. The place was as french as they came, making her smile to herself. Though her french was limited the place didn't strike her as a challenge in anyway. Noticing a young man about her age watching them she nodded with a smile. "Hey," Was all she said before looking to the menu.
"Leo...want to decipher for me?" She asked with a small laugh, if it weren't so public she would pull her wand out to change the menu to english. However, since she was surrounded by people whom she was unsure were witches or not she did not.

"Alô, ça va bien?" he replied with a warm smile when one of the girls talked to him. He took a sip of beer and started looking to the ceiling, there wasnt much to do besides that. His mouth opened when he heard the girl speaking english, he turned to her with a big smile, more than he was wishing to show "You speak english?" he asked rather enthusiastically. He knew she couldnt possible be french due to her perfect accent, or maybe she lived in england for some time. "Im sorry for my enthusiasm, but I was hoping to find someone around my age that i could speak to" he stated, trying to explain his reaction.

"Then join us," Jamie said with a kind smile. He was the second person in less then ten minutes to rejoice over her language choice. Who said France wasn't an interesting place? Staring at the menu for a moment Jamie dared to tip her wand from her jeans to the menu just slightly enough to change the words to her conveniance before huddling it away again. She didn't want to freak strangers out just yet.

Ted lifted his table slightly and putted next to theirs "Ill accept it glady" he said with a warm smile. "So, where are you girls from?" he asked raising his glass, asking for one more beer "Im from London just so you know" he replied even before they asked.

"I think we hit the English speaking jackpot." Leo said with a smile as she scooted her chair over a tad in case he felt like joining them. "Ah, London born and bred. From there but live in the country." Leo added as she sipped her tea greedily. Who knew that there would be so many Brits walking around the South of France?

"London," Jamie nodded at him with a smile. The waitress brought her a glass of water. The translations on her menu made things easier to order as she glanced through it once more. "Poulet est être indésirable." She said carefully to the waitress as she offered the special. "Where do you attend school?" Jamie asked the boy, still withholding her name.
